Anoka, MN
Miller Dunwiddie and Kimley-Horn designed a 270-space parking ramp for the historic downtown center of the City of Anoka. We sensitively fit the ramp to its context, respecting the historic integrity and character of the area while freeing surface lots for redevelopment. An integrated surface lot allows for the setup of street fairs. The completion of the ramp initiates the City's Central Business District revitalization plan, developed with the assistance of Miller Dunwiddie. Under the plan, the ramp will help provide for the needs of a vibrant historic downtown commercial district and serve a proposed mixed-use housing development.
