Minneapolis, MN
Miller Dunwiddie helped turn a century-old building into a state-of-the-art geometry
center. The original building was three stories and constructed of masonry and reinforced
concrete. A fourth floor “roof house” was added in 1919. We converted this unique space
into a high-tech educational facility, including: workstations, offices, computer labs, a
video production laboratory, conference rooms, and classrooms. Interior architectural
forms were derived from the building’s 1920’s industrial architecture. Earth tone colors
were selected to tie today’s activities with the building’s heritage.
