Little Falls, MN
Miller Dunwiddie worked with the Little Falls library board to design an addition to the
community’s 1905 Carnegie Library. We designed an addition on a small site that would
complement the historic library building and allow for expanded library programs and
services. In addition, all mechanical, electrical, fire protection, data and CCTV systems
were updated and accessibility was improved.
Our design solutions respected the building’s original character. For example, the team
preserved and exposed a portion of the original exterior within the new addition, almost
as an exhibit.
