Miller Dunwiddie has worked as the lead firm with Memorial Blood Centers to complete a strategic plan for its future growth expansion plans, including donor sites, facilities for mobile blood drive vehicles and maintenance areas, laboratory areas, and administration areas.

One project, the Centers’ central staging facility in Eden Prairie, MN, performs a variety of functions. Our design provided space for a variety of functions including a fixed-site donor area, administrative areas, garage space for the care and maintenance of blood drive vehicles, office space for blood drive employees, and storage spaces for blood drive supplies and equipment. The fixed site donor area includes reception and lobby spaces, interview rooms, a blood drawing area, and a canteen space. The administration areas consist of private and open office areas, conference areas, break area, and support spaces.
