On this project, Miller Dunwiddie helped Northwest Airlines (NWA) relocate more than
1,000 staff members from facilities with 230,000 gross square feet to new, state-of-the art
facilities totaling 120,000 gross square feet.
During the project process, we interviewed Northwest Airlines employees from more
than 30 departments to assess historic, current, and future facility requirements. We
conducted extensive field surveys of existing conditions at other NWA facilities in
preparation for relocation, renovation, and demolition projects. Miller Dunwiddie is
currently designing an expansion of the facility, to grow the maintenance shop and parts
area by 35,000 SF and provide an additional 15,000 SF of equipment storage.
