Phoenix Residence hired Miller Dunwiddie to design a new prototype six-bedroom house for developmentally challenged residents. These unique living accommodations, built upon an earlier prototype that two staff members helped develop while at another firm. The newly completed design has been implemented in eight locations within Anoka, Ramsey, and Washington counties.

The success of the prototype house builds upon our relationship with Phoenix Residence. In the early 1990s we completed an addition to and renovation of their St. Paul headquarters. In early 2007, construction was also completed on a major renovation of an existing house in Apple Valley, Minnesota into a 4-person residence.
