Wayzata, MN
Miller Dunwiddie worked closely with the Wayzata Country Club planning committee to develop and implement a master plan for the current and future needs of their facility. This plan explored a variety of options to address identified areas of concern: casual dining space, locker rooms, food quality and consistency of service, building infrastructure, and circulation. The final design expanded the bar and casual dining spaces; renovated existing locker rooms, supports spaces, and kitchen service; and updated infrastructure to make all facilities ADA compliant. The project began construction in August 2004 and was completed by May of 2005.
In 2007, the Wayzata Country Club returned to us to help guide the next phase of the Club's evolution. The results of a membership survey indicated that the Club should consider enhancements in several areas such as child care, golf training facilities, exercise, and expanded outdoor dining. These additional services would allow members to enjoy the club more frequently and easily.
