Clement J. Zablocki VAMC National Historic Landmark
The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center (CZVAMC) was founded in 1867 and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. In 2012, the first phase of the project kicked off with a landscape report completed by a team of consultants. Our primary responsibility was team coordination and historic architecture. The second phase involved the preparation of final documentation for a Level I Historic American Landscapes Survey (HALS) submission to the National Park Service Branch of the U.S. Department of the Interior and the Library of Congress. We have continued to consult on the siting of new buildings within the historic district, the exterior design of the buildings, and the stabilization & restoration of numerous historic building.
