Southeast Heating Plant, University of Minnesota
Our building analysis and predesign report for the historic Southeast Heating Plant identified deficiencies and probable causes of deterioration, which led to a focused rehabilitation effort to eliminate water infiltration and stabilize the exterior envelope of the building. The masonry was removed and replaced with reproduction brick & limestone due to extensive damage. The project also included significant structural steel additions, new roof, new reproduction windows, masonry replacement and repointing, and site improvements.
