Riley Jacques Barn
Architectural services were rendered to adaptively use the Riley-Jacques Barn as a park facility. The historic barnyard was maintained while providing a parking lot, accessible walkways and open areas for outdoor activities. The barn’s exterior work included installation of a new wood shingle roof, painting the wood board-and-batten siding, cleaning the masonry base, and installing new windows. An addition was also designed to accommodate an accessible toilet and code-compliant egress for the upper level of the barn.
